CROnos Accu-Rate Data Monitoring System
is a clinically designed and driven software that flags potentially inaccurate scoring in real time.
Psychiatric clinical trials have been plagued by a number of serious issues in recent years:
Data Monitoring can be employed to identify and address problems with the internal consistency of scoring, Inconsistencies between scales, marked changes in scores over a brief period of time or identical scores being submitted over a prolonged period of time that are inconsistent with clinical experience, and discrepancies between efficacy scales and other outcome measures
Together with our strategic partner, CROnos Clinical Consulting Services Inc. (“CROnos”), we deliver a data monitoring service that improves consistency and precision in efficacy ratings, resulting in higher overall signal detection and improved probability of a successful clinical trial.
CROnos' Accu-Rate Data Monitoring System, is an ongoing, real-time review of rating scale scores to ensure that instruments are being utilized consistently and accurately.
Data Monitoring reinforces the rater training provided at the investigator meeting, and is appropriate for virtually any trial that involves clinician-rated measures for mental health or behavioral outcomes. It can be used with any paper or electronic data capture system, and data can be entered with multiple methods (e.g., fax, download from EDC, or a web-based application).
